Quarterback- Tom F***ing Brady, the G.O.A.T., he has to start sucking at some point right? Not too much to say on Brady, his Super Bowl rings speak for themselves.
Running Backs- Sony Michel was a beast when called upon last year, especially through the playoffs leading up to the Super Bowl. They have James White returning for another season, primarily their pass catching back, and they can throw in Rex Burkhead every now and again to switch things up.
Wide Receivers- Besides the time Brady had with Randy Moss, this group of receivers might potentially be the best they have ever had. They still have Julian Edelman, they drafted a WR in the first round for the first time ever when they selected N’Keal Harry who stands at 6’4″ 213 pounds. The Patriots brought in Demaryius Thomas along with Dontrelle Inman and still have Phillip Dorsett who has blazing speed. Tom is pretty loaded this year.
Tight End- After Gronk retired the Patriots went out and got Benjamin Watson, aging veteran, and Austin Seferian-Jenkins who showed promise early in his career but fell off the map a little bit. He is a candidate to see a big improvement on his numbers if he can stay healthy.
Offensive Line- They will be decent and gel throughout the year like every Patriots O-line before them. Patriots seem to have an open trade policy on their o-line and then just plug in another guy.
Defense- It doesn’t matter who is on the defense it seems, once the playoffs hit, they are locked down. Great at stuffing the run, their one weakness is covering the outside receivers.
Until Tom’s arm shows aging they’ll continue going to Super Bowls.
