It appears the “Klaw” logo Nike copyrighted upon the signing of Kawhi Leonard was not theirs to copyright. At least, not according to Kawhi who has taken Nike to court over the logo.
Regardless of who owns the logo, it did not take Twitter long to jump on board with the elementary art project comparisons.

To make things more interesting, there are reports that the clippers tried to purchase the logo in an attempt to entice Leonard to sign in LA this off-season.
